The AA Archers sent four team members to their first tournament of the season at Albuquerque Aviation Academy in November.
Hugo Hashagan ’32 picked up several medals over the two events: bullseye (target) and 3D (animal shapes). For bullseye, he bested all of the competition, which included elementary, middle school, and high school students, and he was the #1 sixth-grade boy the 3D event and #2 among middle schoolers.
Two archers were first-timers to tournament shooting and two were seasoned,” says Coach Dennis Fazio. “They all did a great job supporting each other and making a good effort to do their best.”
